Dr. Alasdair Drummond, Vice-President

Dr. Drummond was born, grew up and was educated in Scotland.   He emigrated to Provost, Alberta with his family in the summer of 1981.   He practiced medicine as a family practitioner/anesthetist in Provost from 1981- to 1990 as one of only two physicians there.   In 1991 he moved his family to Stettler.  Since then he has practiced medicine in Stettler,  as a family practitioner/anesthetist.   He has held several offices in the Central Zone Medical Association culminating in President in 2003-2006. Up until 2015, he served in the position of Chief of Medical Staff at Stettler Hospital Complex. He has also held positions on boards within Alberta Medical Association and currently volunteers on committees within the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.   He enjoys teaching and currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Calgary Department of Medicine.
