Stettler Hospice Society Sponsors
We are planning to provide a comfortable 'home' like space for both the person dying and their loved ones to make the most of the time that remains. Our goal is to provide this at no cost to the family whose stay may be one day or 3 months.
Your funds will be used to purchase specialized equipment, furnishings and fund operating costs for our start-up and for the first year of operation. Our 'dream' may be realized through legacy funding so please peruse that information.

We are planning to provide a comfortable 'home' like space for both the person dying and their loved ones to make the most of the time that remains. Our goal is to provide this at no cost to the family whose stay may be one day or 3 months. Your funds will be used to maintain the specialized equipment and furnishings and fund the operational costs which will be incurred in the administration of hospice care. Initially, the sponsorship levels below were only for corporate sponsors, but the Board voted in January of 2020, to not differentiate between corporate and personal donations. Your donation will be recognized by award level on our Facebook page, our quarterly
newsletter, and this website, so please let your contact know if you wish your contribution to be anonymous.

We have planned to have discreet, tasteful recognition signage at the facility and whenever possible recognize our donors and sponsors at events, on our website and Facebook page. If you want to remain anonymous please inform your contact.

Stettler Hospice has projected to open for our first resident in 2020, and will provide hospice care in a home like setting.
We expect occupancy to exceed 90 percent. We want to be available when families need us. Our community needs respite care for
caregiver relief, bereavement programs, palliative education and increased hospice care.
We need to meet the needs of East Central Alberta for hospice care. We recently have been guaranteed by Points West to operate out of
one of their private resident rooms on the main floor, that has enhanced family areas including living room, quiet areas, a kitchen and
dedicated sanctuary space.
Our 'dream' is to eventually fund a stand alone facility, however we have to start somewhere. By renting a space in a non institutionalized facility that already has staffing, we can establish Stettler' s need and provide hospice care for local families in the most economically responsible way.
