Stettler Hospice Society News

Cheri Neitz, Director
My husband Guy and I are a part of our family’s Twin Arrows Ranch operation.  Many years ago, Nancy Bauman and I shared our stories of the loss of our fathers. She had expressed her interest in providing a hospice for Stettler and area. I wholeheartedly agreed with her. Spring forward to 2021, government restrictions were such that my father in law passed away alone while family were switching shifts of two by two. That was when I realized that hospice is a critical space.

Lori-Anne Nibourg, Director
I have lived in Stettler most all my life. I have lived a life extremely blessed by the most wonderful family and friends and now I can add the best grandchildren ever. I am a huge advocate for hospice as it fits into my belief of all life is sacred and has great dignity.

I have lived in Stettler since 1990. I am married to my husband Stace and together we have 2 beautiful girls. I am currently the Office Manger of the Stettler Medical Clinic. I am the president of the Stettler Swim Club, to which both my girls swim competitively. I also sit on the board of the Stettler Pheasant Festival. If we are not at swim meet on the weekends, we are out riding quads or hanging out with friends. The hospice brings a peaceful setting to families with

Karla Benjamin-Baille, Director
I worked for the Stettler Hospice Society as the service coordinator. Then, new career options arose, so I joined as a board member to volunteer my time to this fantastic facility that we offer to the community and the area. I was born and raised in the Stettler area and was married 20 years to my late husband Scott, and we have three children, Paige, Desirea, Kody, and two great-grandchildren. My interest in Hospice came from taking care of my grandmother and my mother-in-la

Theresa Perkins, Secretary
Born and raised in the Peace Country, I moved to Calgary to complete my Interior Design diploma at Mount Royal College. My husband, daughter and I moved to Edson for seven years then to Stettler in 2008. My career path has taken me from private design, facilities management, manufacturing, project management and most recently scheduling. I was introduced to Stettler Hospice Society when asked if I'd be interested in decorating and furnishing the suite. From there I met some
